Message from Development Director

Paula GilletteWould you like to have a priest perform funerals for your loved ones? Would you like to be married by a priest? Do you want to have a priest baptize your children and grandchildren? According to a study done by Notre Dame, by the end of 2010 the number of priest-less parishes will rise by 16%. Did you know that 80% of the priests in the state of Wyoming attended Catholic schools? Catholic schools provide the most effective way to evangelize and form holy men and women who make God known, loved, and served. We simply cannot allow any more Catholic schools to close!

You may be surprised to know that Catholic schools are closing their doors all over the United States. In January, NBC reported the closing of 14 Catholic Schools in New York. The National Catholic Education Association released a report that stated 1,300 Catholic schools have closed their doors since 1990. St. Anthony Tri-Parish Catholic School may have been forced to close within five years but now we have an opportunity to build a new school and increase enrollment. We need your help today! Please help ensure that Catholic Education does not end in Casper! Together we can sustain and strengthen our Catholic school by donating to the new school building.

Students are educated to have a strong sense of honesty and ethics. They learn the importance of service by studying the works of Jesus, the Disciples, and the Saints. They learn that they are part of a whole community and that the community is strong because of their service to each other. Would you please find it in your heart to make a donation to our new school building project?

Please, ask God for his guidance as you decide how much to give. Thank you for your consideration. May the peace of Christ be with you.
